The Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada (IRB) is pleased to announce that new webpages to help individuals appeal an immigration decision are now live. Written in easy-to-understand language, the content found in Making an immigration appeal will help provide added support to appellants appearing before the Immigration Appeal Division, particularly those who are representing themselves and vulnerable persons.
Redesigned webpages include:
- detailed information on the steps required for making an appeal
- information to help prepare a case
- simple instructions for submitting documents
- information on how to prepare for an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) conference
This new web content supports the Board's key objective of becoming a high-performing digital organization that supports greater access to justice.
