The Refugee Appeal Division (RAD) considers appeals of decisions made by the Refugee Protection Division (RPD) to allow or reject claims for refugee protection. The RAD hears 2 kinds of appeals:
Types of appeals at the RAD, who can appeal, who can’t appeal, the appeals process overview, representation, designated representatives, official languages used, and in-person and virtual hearings
Filing your notice of appeal, sending the RAD documents, completing the appellant’s record, and presenting new evidence
Filing and perfecting the appeal, submitting your notice of intent to respond, preparing your respondent’s record, and requesting additional time to respond
This form is to be used only to report technical issues or errors encountered on our website. As submissions are anonymous, the IRB will not respond.
